Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010 (CVAA)

Signed by President Obama on October 8, 2010, the CVAA updates federal communications laws to increase access to people with disabilities to modern technologies, including all digital, broadband, and mobile innovations. This includes telecommunications access to people with disabilities, such as web browsers on mobile devices by blind/visually impaired people, and video programming that includes closed captioning on TV.
